We currently have an opportunity for a Newly or Nearly Qualified Audit Senior.

Our Practice

We are a firm of Business Advisers looking to recruit a part or newly qualified Audit and Accounts senior to join our Practice based in Bingham, Nottinghamshire.

You will be working as part of our talented team on audit and accounts assignments within the office and at clients’ premises. What makes us different is that we offer our clients all of the in-house skills and knowledge of a large city centre practice, but with the service and personal support you only find with a local firm. The size of our clients and variety of business sectors enable both a challenging and stimulating path for career development.

Responsibilities

Senior role on audit assignments including planning, identifying audit risks, developing an audit plan and executing the audit on site;

Preparation of a file for review by audit manager; Supervise junior members of the audit team;

Producing statutory accounts for limited companies from client records and completing corporation tax returns;

Communicating with clients by e-mail, letter, telephone calls and attending weekly team briefing meetings;

Completing other ad-hoc tasks to support financial business advisory service to client base;

Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified

2-3 years accounting and auditing experience Experience of using accounting and auditing software.

Knowledge of IRIS and CCH audit automation would be beneficial. Experience of using Microsoft office including good knowledge of Excel.

Benefits

Salary £28,000 to £36,000 depending on experience and level of qualification. Full study support package if applicable.

25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Life insurance 4x salary.
